Amherst Welding

A Bridgeport mill is considered to be the only machine capable of making all of the pieces necessary to recreate itself. We use it to drill holes, make long slots, and machine keyways. We have two and we would be lost without them. A lathe is a machine used to turn metal and put holes in pieces that can be locked into the lathes’ chuck and spun horizontally in the lathe. Lathes can also be used for turning shafts.
